This project required a concept illustration for a children's website that educates children about farm life. The concept was to be the opening page for this children's website that would introduce the style of the page, and list the navigation for the site. The target audience was children ages 3-7.

For my project, I created a simple opening scene, a kind of establishing shot for the farm. I wanted the style to be vibrant, stylized and just a little bit distorted. The barn especially shows the exaggerated perspective. I created the foreground bull to add visual interest to the scene, and a sign post to contain all the navigation. The last navigation was placed on the ground to create more visual interest, to draw the bull into the vertical eye line, and to point the viewers attention to the barn. The title was set in a fun, loose font, and made to appear to be coming through the clouds to incorporate it into the scene.
